In response to a quickly developing outdoor sports industry, we envisioned this unique 24m. long vessel, which acts as the central hub of a new cruise concept.
Part hangar, part entertainment platform, it shadows a flotilla of smaller charter yachts on a route with daily stopovers along the coast, from where a multitude of adventurous outdoor activities take place. All of this in the midst of breathtaking scenery, otherwise difficult to reach.
The vessel's most distinct feature is a system of watertight containers and a set of specially designed tenders to take care of the logistics of shuttling sports equipment and guests to shore and back.
Its capacity of 60 containers and 2 tenders can support a group of up to 55 guests and 5 guides, who are each assigned their own personal container of equipment.
A small onboard workshop is available for repairs and maintenance of sports equipment, so nobody misses out on the action!
Similar to a set of Matrioshka dolls, REVEL's logistical system is made of multi-level nested elements:
The sports equipment fits into the containers, which fit on the tenders, which go on the shadow vessel, which is part of the flotilla.
Each element has its role to play. Each element has its place. Form & Function.
